Jim Stout (guitar) Jim relocated to Burlington from New York City, where he honed his diverse musical skills (jazz, blues, r&b, rock, rockabilly) working with musicians ranging from Johnny Thunders to Eugene Pitt and The Jive Five, and previously with Philadelphia's legendary John Cadillac Band and Robert Hazard. Capturing the spirit of the great swing improvisers, Jim's playing is melodic and lyrical with well developed phrasing and sensitivity.
Nick Sansone (guitar) A native Vermonter, Nick has recently returned to Burlington after living and performing in Europe for the last two years with his band "The Hot Cotton Club". He has been fortunate to study with Fapy Lafertin and play with Jan De Jong, Jan Brouwer, Matcho Winterstein, Hot Club Sandwich and the eclectic Fishtank Ensemble. Nick's swinging style beautifully carries on the Django tradition.
Joanna Sansone (violin) Originally from England, Joanna comes from a classical background and has toured Europe with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. She caught the swing bug while living in Spain and has played with 'The Hot Cotton Club' and swing violinist Hady Moullen in Holland. In addition to her exquisite Gypsy violin styling, Jo also brings her unique vocal talents to the mix.
Tyler Bolles (upright bass) One of Vermont's most sought after bassists, Tyler also performs Jamie Masefield and Doug Perkins, Brett Hughes, Gordon Stone and Bow Thayer and Holy Plow. An in demand studio musician, you can hear his playing on recent releases from Steven Leibman, Aaron Flinn, Nate Gusakov, and Loveful Heights. At home in any style, Tyler provides the infectious driving pulse and rock solid foundation for the band.
