Upcoming musician, producer, and singer/songwriter Corey R-J, originally of small town Rhode Island, has recently relocated to Boston, MA in hopes of further establishing himself within the music industry. Since 2004, Corey has been writing, recording, and preforming with various local acts across New England, and has only in recent years begun to write, record and perform as a solo musician. Corey uses styles of rock, pop, and jazz influenced from artists such as, The Early November, Minus The Bear, and The Rocket Summer to write, record and self-produce all instruments and material to ultimately create his own unique and original sound
For almost 3 years now, Corey has preformed as a solo musician, attending open mics as often as possible as well as playing various local gigs with friends and artists from the area. His most recent accomplishments include his first solo EP entitled Here I Am., released in February 2010, as well as performing victorious in November 2011, at a battle of the bands event at Bay State College in Boston, MA.
Currently, Corey plans to release his debut EP, Time & Travel, as well as a 8 track album, including acoustic variations from his first EP, Here I Am. (released Feb. 2010) and Time & Travels both to be released March 2012. Following the releases in he will embark on an solo, acoustic driven tour, booked within New England and the Tri-State area.
