Description:
Born and raised in rural Kansas, Fraley wrote her first songs -- piano ballads -- on a slightly out of tune church piano after long days spent listening to Top 40 radio. Songwriting, recording and performing continued throughout her formative years and into her college career studying liberal arts and music at Southwestern College. Currently based in Nashville, TN, Ms Fraleyʼs songwriting pulls inspiration from seasoned pop artists such as The Cardigans, Ingrid Michaelson, and Josh Ritter. Fraleyʼs songwriting maintains accessible-pop-music sensibilities without diminishing the lyrical message or sacrificing solid, authentic musicianship. Her songs speak to the concept of change, love, and moving forward in life. With her heartfelt, sometimes quirky, and ultimately catchy piano/acoustic guitar based pop music, Ms. Fraley is well on the way toward a successful career as a modern-day singer/songwriter.
