Queen City Hot Club plays American and European standards in the Gypsy Jazz style created by Django Reinhardt, Stephane Grappelli, and their legendary "Quintet Hot Club de France". Rooted in 1930’s Swing, Queen City Hot Club also incorporates contemporary Gypsy sounds popular in Europe today. This fiery acoustic music has started to make inroads in North America - and now in Vermont! Melodic and improvisational with a driving rhythm it appeals to listeners of all ages and musical tastes. Queen City Hot Club has been playing extensively in Vermont for the last couple of years and has recently undergone an exciting new change in line-up.
