Queen City Hot Club plays American and European standards in the Gypsy Jazz style created by Django Reinhardt, Stephane Grappelli, and their legendary "Quintet Hot Club de France". Rooted in 1930’s Swing, Queen City Hot Club also incorporates contemporary Gypsy sounds popular in Europe today. This fiery acoustic music has started to make inroads in North America - and now in Vermont! Melodic and improvisational with a driving rhythm it appeals to listeners of all ages and musical tastes. Queen City Hot Club has been playing extensively in Vermont for the last couple of years and has recently undergone an exciting new change in line-up.

Zephrus, a 3 piece electric and acoustic ensemble out of Burlington, features the talents of Corey Cranston (Excessive Behaviour, Band-X, Elephants of Scotland) on guitar, Troy Cyphers (Band-X, Dog, Baba Fats) on drums, and Scott McGrath (Shakedown, November Guest, Longford
Row) on bass. Their music consists of a mixture of epic instrumentals, highly re-imagined rock covers, and deep-track originals with vocals. Using innovative approaches to each of their instruments, Zephrus' musical canvas is painted with brush strokes of Led Zeppelin, King Crimson, Yes, Pink Floyd, Steely Dan, The Police, Weather Report, and more, forming an exciting, cerebral, and entirely unique body of work.
