They are heavily influenced by international tastes that blend the sounds of folk, americana, rock, blues, soul, tropicaliá with lyrics sang with a bad-ass Judy Garland voice written in English and Brazilian Portuguese. Jessica Dasilva the lead vocalist, plays the ukelele. Jess is accompanied by her guitarist husband John, who lends his voice with contagious harmonies. John also played in Pariah Beat.
Our integral talents also include:
Nick Heys - Hot Day at the Zoo - Cavaquinho, guitar, accordion, mandolin and keys

Though Sò Sol is new, the talent of the group are seasoned and the fans are noticing and growing quickly. This a group of cats you can't miss!
A compelling hybrid of west-coast-pop-energy and east-coast-jam-band-spirit fuel the songs written by singer-songwriter Cory Allen Staats. A native of the central coast of California, he has spent the last five years playing on stages all around Boston while finishing two degrees at Berklee College of Music. Cory is not just a skilled singer and guitar player, he has often surprised audiences by pulling out his saxophone during the set and jamming along with the band. A storyteller at heart, Cory is always searching for a new perspective: “To take a typical situation and be able to tell a story you’ve never heard, that is the goal I start with before writing every song.” Whether an acoustic show, or with the band, Cory Allen Staats is one of New England's newest must-see acts!
